Margaret Dickey Scholarship
The Margaret Dickey Scholarship will provide annual support for student scholarship(s) within the Division of Undergraduate Studies. The purpose of these scholarships is to enhance the opportunity for Emancipated Foster Youth to fulfill their dream of higher education and provide financial assistance to support their goal.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Student must be emancipated foster youth.
- Student must be in good academic standing with a minimum overall GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Preference given to students admitted to and participating in the SDSU EOP Program.
- Scholarship is renewable for up to four additional years; the recipients must be in good academic standing, maintain enrollment in at least 12 units of course work each terms, and submit the scholarship renewal application each year.
