Neva and Ralph Smith Scholarship

The Neva and Ralph Smith Scholarship is an endowment whose annual income distributions will be used to support student scholarships within Liberal Studies. As a life long educator, Mrs. Smith believes in the importance of higher education and providing access to talented students with financial need.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must be undergraduate students planning to pursue careers as educators at the elementary, secondary, or postsecondary level.
• Recipients must be participating in the Weber Honors College.
• Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time.
• Recipients must be in good academic standing.
• Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
• In order to graduate from the Weber Honors College, students are required to maintain a 3.2 GPA.
