Friends of Classics Charter Scholarship
The Friends of Classics Charter Scholarship was established in 1993 to honor the Charter Members of the organization with annual scholarships to worthy students. Each Friends of Classics Charter Scholarship is designated for a student currently enrolled in Greek or Latin courses who shows promise of excelling in future courses. The Friends of Classics supports the Department of Classics and Humanities. Founded as a way to insure that classical studies — especially the study of classical Greek and Latin — would remain a viable and valued program at SDSU, the “Friends” continually seek out ways to recognize and reward undergraduates studying classics for their arduous devotion.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
