Jim and Lisa Givens Accountancy Endowed Scholarship
The Jim and Lisa Givens Accountancy Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students pursuing a degree in the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy in the Fowler College of Business and who are involved in one or more of the following SDSU Cultural Centers or SDSU Recognized Student Organizations that are open to all who wish to join: Black Resource Center, Latinx Resource Center, Undocumented Resource Center, Black Business Society, Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) or Hispanic Business Student Association.
To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipient(s) must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time.
- Recipient(s) must be majoring in Accounting in the Fowler College of Business.
- Recipient(s) must have applied to or be enrolled in the BMACC program.
- Recipient(s) must be involved in one or more of the following SDSU Cultural Centers or SDSU Recognized Student Organizations: Black Resource Center, Latinx Resource Center, Undocumented Resource Center, Black Business Society, Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) or Hispanic Business Student Association.
