Gregory J. Smith Master of Public Administration (MPA) Endowed Scholarship

The Gregory J. Smith Master of Public Administration (MPA) Endowed Scholarship will be used to support scholarships to incoming and continuing graduate students pursuing a master’s in public administration in the School of Public Affairs.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipient(s) must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Recipient(s) must be incoming or continuing graduate students in the Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) program with an emphasis in financial management.
  • Applicants must provide the name of the municipality and time period if they have completed an internship with a county or similar municipality.
  • Preference will be given to students who have completed or are currently completing an internship with a county or similar municipality.
  • Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
