CalRTA Laura E. Settle Scholarship
The CalRTA Laura E. Settle Scholarship will provide scholarship support to Single Subject or Multiple Subject Credential program students in the College of Education.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must: possess an above-average scholastic record; have a record of exemplary character; have a senior or graduate standing in the School or Department of Teacher Education, including practice teaching positions.
- Credential students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- This scholarship requires two letters of recommendation/reference. Referees must submit letters of recommendation/references by the application deadline in order for your application to be complete and considered by the committee. Referees cannot log into Aztec Scholarships until you submit your application. Applications that have fewer than the required number of reference letters will not be reviewed.
