Cameron Brown Average-Student Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Cameron loved people, laughter, music and sports. He was a superbly active, vital person with indomitable spirit and quiet faith. It was with love and courage that he faced his illness and his death, caring for those who wished to help and care for him. He spoke to a tolerance class to educate young minds and hearts about cancer and its debilitating consequences. He did not always win, but he always kept trying. At his memorial service the following was written in a pictorial program: “We will always cherish his love of laughter, his love of family, his love of life and our love for him.” The Cameron Brown Average-Student Memorial Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students in the School of Communication in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
