Gracia Molina Enriquez de Pick Endowed Scholarship

The Gracia Enriquez Molina de Pick Endowed Scholarship for Chicana/Latina/Indigenous Feminist Research and Programming will be awarded to support action research for the development of feminist, community-oriented, socially responsible, engaged scholars and leaders. This scholarship aims to support research and scholarship on social justice, community service, humanitarianism, and equality including race, class, gender, and intellectualism. Scholarship recipients may be required to present their research results in a public community setting.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipients must be pursuing a program of study in Chicana/Chicano Studies.
  • Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
  • Graduate students must have a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
  • Undergraduate students must have a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 2.80 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Recipient(s) must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
  • This scholarship requires a letter of recommendation/reference. Referees must submit letters of recommendation/references by the application deadline in order for your application to be complete and considered by the committee. Referees cannot log into Aztec Scholarships until you submit your application.
