Edith Vogl Garrett Endowed Scholarship
The Edith Vogl Garrett Endowed Scholarship will be utilized by the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts for scholarships to students in the School of Music and Dance whose area of study and experience is in music history, musicology or ethnomusicology and who have an academic or performance interest in Eastern European ,Czech or Slovak classical or folk music.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must be pursuing a degree in the School of Music and Dance.
- All class levels are eligible.
- Preference will be given to students with an academic or performance interest in Eastern European, Czech, or Slovak classical or folk music.
- Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
- Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.

- Submit an essay that describes your interest in Eastern European, Czech, or Slovak classical or folk music; detailing any previous experience in the area; and discussing their future plans for performance or work within the field.
