Vasquez Scholarship for Advancing Latinx Student Success
The Vasquez Scholarship for Advancing Latinx Student Success will provide scholarship support to students in the Ed.D. program in Community College Leadership in the College of Education.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must be doctoral candidates in their third year of the Ed.D. program in Community College Leadership.
- Recipients must be conducting dissertation research centered on improving equitable outcomes for Latinx students in community college and/or on Latinx transfer students and post-baccalaureate achievement for Latinx transfer students.
- Recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85 or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.

- Submit a one page document that includes the title and abstract or your dissertation research on improving equitable outcomes for Latinx students in community college and/or on Latinx transfer students and post-baccalaureate achievement of Latinx transfer students.
