Vasquez Scholarship for Advancing Latinx Student Success

The Vasquez Scholarship for Advancing Latinx Student Success will provide scholarship support to second year or third year students in the Ed.D. program in Community College Leadership in the College of Education.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipients must be doctoral candidates in either their second or third year of the Ed.D. program in Community College Leadership.
  • Recipients must be conducting dissertation research focused on improving equitable outcomes for Latinx students in community colleges and/or on the transfer and post-baccalaureate achievement of Latinx transfer students.
  • Recipients must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85 or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
