Cathy Clark Excellence in Journalism Endowed Scholarship

The Cathy Clark Excellence in Journalism Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students in the School of Journalism and Media Studies in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipient(s) must be undergraduates pursuing a major in Journalism.
• Recipient(s) must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Preference will be given to students with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Preference will be given to students who transferred to SDSU from a community college or other university.
• Preference will be given to an applicant who will be a junior or senior at the time of the award.
• Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time.
• Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
• Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
