Edith and Elmer Rodriguez Querer Es Poder Endowed Scholarship

The Edith and Elmer Rodriguez Querer Es Poder Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students in the Office of Educational Opportunity Programs, Outreach and Success (EOPOS) in the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity participating in EOP and having graduated high school from one of the following San Diego County or Imperial County School Districts:

  • Sweetwater School District
  • Brawley Union High School District
  • Calexico Unified School District
  • Calipatria Unified School District
  • Central Union High School District
  • Holtville Unified School District
  • Imperial Unified School District
  • San Pasqual Valley Unified School District

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipients must be an undergraduate student.
  • Students must be an active participant of EOP (Educational Opportunity Program).
  • Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
  • Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
  • Students must have graduated from a high school in one of the following San Diego County or Imperial County, CA, School Districts:
    o Sweetwater School District
    o Brawley Union High School District
    o Calexico Unified School District
    o Calipatria Unified School District
    o Central Union High School District
    o Holtville Unified School District
    o Imperial Unified School District
    o San Pasqual Valley Unified School District
