Coughlin Family Endowed Scholarship for Veterans
The Coughlin Family Endowed Scholarship for Veterans will provide scholarship support to students in the Military & Veterans program in the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must be undergraduate students.
- Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Students must be participants in the SDSU Military & Veterans Program.
- Eligible recipients include: active duty service members, National Guard members, reservists, and/or veterans of the United States Armed Forces (and their children and spouses).
- Recipients are not required to be enrolled full-time.

Is there anything specific that you would like others to know about military service or what it is like to be related to a service member? For example, if your service was within the medical field or you served as a corpsman, what specifically about that work would you like others to know?
