Smith & Burns Service to America Nursing Endowed Scholarship

The Smith & Burns Service to America Nursing Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to undergraduate students in the School of Nursing in the College of Health and Human Services who are active duty service member, reservist, National Guard, and/or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces; or the spouse or dependent of active duty service member, reservist, National Guard member, and/or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must be juniors or seniors.
• Recipients must be enrolled in SDSU’s School of Nursing.
• Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Recipients must be active duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, and/or veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces; or the spouse or dependent of an active duty service member, reservist, National Guard member, and/or veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces.
• Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
