Marco G. Walshok Graduate Endowed Scholarship in Public Affairs
The Marco G. Walshok Graduate Endowed Scholarship in Public Affairs will be utilized by the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts for scholarships to graduate students studying Public Administration or City Planning programs. This two year scholarship will be partnered with a graduate assistant position within the School of Public Affairs.
To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients will be incoming graduate students in the Public Administration or City Planning programs at the time of the initial award.
- Recipients will be Graduate Assistants.
- Recipients will have experience with global/border affairs in areas such as commerce, transportation, or public policies that affect quality of life, including water and environmental issues.
- Preference will be given to applicants interested in acquiring knowledge and skills in aspects of globalization and/or border issues.
- The scholarship will renew automatically for 1 additional year if the recipients maintain good academic standing and continue to serve as graduate assistants.
