June S. Cummins-Lewis Graduate Scholarship for Children's Literature

The June S. Cummins-Lewis Graduate Scholarship for Children’s Literature will provide scholarships to recruit high-achieving students pursuing the Department of English and Comparative Literature’s Master of Arts in English with a specialization in Children’s Literature.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipients must be matriculated SDSU students pursuing the Department of English and Comparative Literature’s Master of Arts in English with a specialization in Children’s Literature.
  • Recipients shall be incoming master’s students.
  • Incoming graduate recipients must have a minimum 3.50 GPA.
  • Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
  • This scholarship requires a letter of recommendation/reference. Referees must submit letters of recommendation/references by the application deadline in order for your application to be complete and considered by the committee. Referees cannot log into Aztec Scholarships until you submit your application.
