Hunton Sellman Memorial Scholarship
The Hunton Sellman Memorial Scholarship was established in the spring of 1969. Hunton Sellman succeeded Sybil Eliza Jones as the second Chairman of the Drama Department. He was a noted lighting designer, director and author. For many years his texts on scenery and lighting were used all over the United States. In the post World War II years he promoted a professional orientation to the Drama program and expanded the curriculum and the number of productions. He taught at SDSU from 1946 to 1970. He died in 1992.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients will be pursuing a program of study in Theatre Arts.
- Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled full-time to remain eligible for this scholarship.
- Graduate students must be enrolled at least part-time to remain eligible for this scholarship.
