LeMieux-LaGrandeur Music Performance Endowed Scholarship
The LeMieux-LaGrandeur Music Performance Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students majoring in vocal or instrumental music performance who perform with a musical ensemble, chorus, orchestra, opera, or in a musical theatre production.
To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must be majoring in one of the following programs:
o Music, Jazz Studies Specialization, B.M.
o Music, Jazz Studies, M.M.
o Music, Performance Specialization, B.M.
o Music, Performance, M.M.
o Music, Performance (Instrument), M.M.
o Music, Performance (Voice), M.M.
o Musical Theatre, B.A.
o Musical Theatre, M.F.A. - Recipients must perform vocally or instrumentally with a musical ensemble, chorus, orchestra, opera or in a musical theatre production.
- All class levels are eligible.
- Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Recipients are not required to be enrolled full-time.
