Harold Keen Journalism Scholarship

The Harold Keen Journalism Scholarship will support students pursuing a journalism program of study in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients will be students with a general news emphasis.
• Recipients must be upper-division undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a journalism program of study in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
• Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
• Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.

Donor Profile:

Harold Keen was considered the “Dean of San Diego broadcast journalism.” His wife, Ruth, established this scholarship when he died.
