Shirley Wade Thomas Scholarship

The Shirley Wade Thomas Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students majoring or minoring in Africana Studies in the College of Arts and Letters.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Undergraduates are eligible.
• Recipients must be continuing SDSU students.
• Recipients must have declared an Africana Studies major or minor at least one semester before submitting a scholarship application.
• Recipients must have a cumulative GPA greater than or equal to 2.50 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Recipients are not required to be enrolled full-time.
