Lall Family Endowed Scholarship

The Lall Family Endowment will be utilized by the L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at SDSU for experiential learning and scholarships to students. Students will be selected by the school, and preference will be given to students who have experienced unique adverse circumstances in their lives that their education will help them overcome. The Lall Family Learning Experience fund will provide support to students for learning opportunities such as, but not limited to, travel to conferences; trade memberships; attending local industry events; and subscriptions.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled..

Requirements:

• All class levels are eligible.
• Recipients must be students pursuing a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
• Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
• Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.

Donor Profile:

Mr. and Mrs. Barry and Hema Lall have achieved success in their lives through education and hard work. They understand the importance of these two things and they also understand the difficulty of overcoming adversity. It is their dream to help a student with a passion for the hospitality industry to achieve their goals and to be successful. The Lall Family Endowed Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate a passion for the hospitality industry as well as unique challenges in their lives that their education will help them overcome.
