Daphne Marschalk Fredrickson Scholarship
The Daphne Marschalk Fredrickson Scholarship will provide scholarship support to undergraduate students in the College of Engineering.
To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients will be enrolled in the College of Engineering, and be an undergraduate-level student who has demonstrated a commitment to the profession by reaching at least their junior year of study.
- Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Recipients must be a member of the SDSU student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), which is open to all who wish to join.
- Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
Donor Profile:
Daphne Marschalk Fredrickson graduated from the SDSU College of Engineering in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and was that department’s distinguished graduate. She was a member of The Society of Woman Engineers and actively pursued life while living her dreams.
