Diane L. Borden Endowed Scholarship
The Diane L. Borden Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to upper-division undergraduates and graduate students in the School of Journalism and Media Studies in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Recipients must be juniors, seniors, or graduate-level students to be eligible.
- Graduate students must be enrolled as a major in the Master of Arts in Mass Communication program.
- Undergraduate students must be enrolled as a journalism major. Advertising, public relations, and media studies undergraduate students are not eligible for this scholarship award.
- Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
- Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.

- Please submit an essay of no more than 500 words about your interest and personal experience in journalism, what you hope to do following graduation with your education in journalism, and the specific journalism-related activities you participate in while at SDSU.
