Dorothy Allshouse Endowed Scholarship

The Dorothy Allshouse Scholarship supports full-time students who have been out of school in the workforce for an extended period of time and are returning to school to earn a degree.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• All majors and class levels are eligible.
• Recipient(s) must be enrolled full-time.
• Recipient(s) will be non-traditional student(s) who have previously been in the workforce and are now pursuing a college degree.
• Recipient(s) should be pursuing their first bachelor’s degree.
• Award may be renewed but it is not automatic. Previous recipients must reapply for consideration.
• Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
