Jerald B. Elliott Endowed Scholarship for Investigative Journalism
This endowment fund will provide scholarship support to students pursuing a major in Journalism who intend to pursue a career in investigative or enterprise journalism.
Enrollment Requirements:
- Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Recipients must be pursuing a major in Journalism, Journalism-Advertising, Journalism-Media Studies or Journalism-Public Relations.
- Recipients must be sophomores, juniors or seniors.
- Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA or 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
- Applicants must intend to pursue a career in investigative or enterprise journalism.
- Applicants must submit a resume or curriculum vitae (CV).
- Applicants must submit an essay (max 300 words) focusing on their passion for journalism and their intent to pursue a career in investigative or enterprise journalism.
