Daphne Marschalk Fredrickson Scholarship

Daphne Marschalk Fredrickson graduated from the SDSU College of Engineering in 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering and was that department’s distinguished graduate. She was a member of The Society of Woman Engineers and actively pursued life while living her dreams. The scholarship in her memory is an endowment whose annual distributions will be used to support student scholarships within the College of Engineering.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • Recipients will be enrolled in the College of Engineering, and be an undergraduate-level student who has demonstrated a commitment to the profession by reaching at least their junior year of study.
  • Recipients must have a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
  • Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
  • Recipients must be a member of the SDSU student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
  • Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
