Frank McCarty Endowed Scholarship in Music Composition

The Frank McCarty Endowed Scholarship in Music Composition will provide scholarship support to students in the Music Composition Program in the Music Department of the School of Music and Dance at the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

  • All class levels are eligible.
  • Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
  • Recipients must enroll in a minimum of twelve units per semester (undergraduate) or six units per semester (graduate) during the scholarship period.
  • Recipients must be undergraduate or graduate Music majors with a specialization in Composition.
