Gordon Lusk Memorial Scholarship

The Gordon Lusk Memorial Scholarship was established in 1988 in memory of former Drama Department graduate student, staff member and designer Gordon J. Lusk. Lusk was a prominent San Diego costume designer and scholar. He was the first student enrolled in the MFA program in costume design. He initiated the costume loan/rental program. He was an exceptional costume researcher and scholar, and his personal library of research books and costume files was his final gift to the Theatre Department. This collection was the foundation of the Research Center.
