SDSU Alumni Legacy Scholarship
The SDSU Alumni Legacy Scholarship will provide scholarship support to SDSU students who have a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or legal guardian who is an alumna/alumnus of SDSU and a lifetime member of SDSU Alumni; or who is an alumna/alumnus of SDSU and a current volunteer at SDSU; or who is an alumna/alumnus of SDSU and a current donor (with the current fiscal year) of any amount.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- All class levels are eligible.
- Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00.
- Undergraduate recipients must be enrolled full-time.
- Graduate recipients must be enrolled at least part-time to remain eligible for this scholarship. (6 units or more).
- Recipients must have a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or legal guardian who is an alumna/alumnus of SDSU. The alumna/alumnus must also be one of the following:
- a lifetime member of SDSU Alumni
- a current volunteer at SDSU
- a current donor (within the current fiscal year) of any amount to any area of SDSU.

- Please submit an essay of no more than 500 words answering the following prompt: Describe what you have learned through your alumni family member(s) about the importance of staying involved with SDSU after graduation. Include the name(s) of family member(s) who are alumni and whether they are a lifetime member(s) of SDSU Alumni, a current volunteer(s) at SDSU, or a current donor(s) (within the current fiscal year) of any amount to any area of SDSU.
