Viola Granstaff Memorial Scholarship
The Viola Granstaff Memorial Scholarship was established in October of 1986 by the Friends of Classics and faculty members to provide scholarship support to students pursuing a major or minor in the Classics who have completed at least their first semester of Greek or Latin coursework.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- All class levels are eligible.
- Recipients must be pursuing a major or minor in Classics.
- The first award will be made to a student who has completed the first semester of Greek or Latin at SDSU.
- The second award will be made to a student who has completed coursework in Greek or Latin beyond the first semester, at SDSU or elsewhere.
- Undergraduate and graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
