Guillermina Alcazar Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Guillermina Alcazar Memorial Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to SDSU students who are first generation college students and are involved in EOP and Yo Soy Initiatives.
To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.
If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.
Requirements:
- Undergraduates are eligible.
- Undergraduate recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.00 out of 4.00.
- Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
- Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
- Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
- Recipients must be involved in SDSU EOP (Educational Opportunity Program).
- Recipients must be first generation students.
- Recipients must be (at least one of the following):
o majoring in Chicano/a Studies
o involved in the SDSU HSI Student Advisory Board.
o involved in the SDSU LatinX Resource Center, a recognized student organization that is open to all who wish to join.
o involved in the SDSU Undocumented Resource Center, a recognized student organization that is open to all who wish to join.
