Dr. and Mrs. Stanley M. Thien, Glae, and Erin Thien Endowed Scholarship in Journalism

The Dr. and Mrs. Stanley M. Thien, Glae, and Erin Thien Endowed Scholarship in Journalism will provide scholarship support to upper division Journalism students in the School of Journalism and Media Studies in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipient(s) must be upper-division undergraduates pursuing a major in Journalism, with an emphasis in Journalism.
• Preference will be given to recipient(s) who have a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Preference will be given to recipient(s) who attended high school or community college in San Diego County.
• Undergraduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
