Terry L. Atkinson Best and Brightest Local Student Endowed Scholarship

The Terry L. Atkinson Best and Brightest Local Student Endowed Scholarship will be utilized to award annual scholarships to local students at SDSU.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
• Recipients must be incoming freshmen or new transfer students.
• Freshmen recipients must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.85 out of 4.00 or higher on a SAT score of 1250 or higher.
• New transfer recipients must have a cumulative GPA in college-level coursework of 3.50 out of 4.00 or higher.
• Recipients must have graduated from a high school in San Diego County located south of state route 56 and extending eastward or from an Imperial County high school (SDSU’s local admission area).
• To be eligible for scholarship renewal, previous recipients must maintain a cumulative 3.50 GPA out of 4.00 or higher.
