Laurel Amtower Memorial Scholarship

The Laurel Amtower Memorial Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to upper-division undergraduate students and graduate students at SDSU with a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 pursuing specified majors within the following departments: Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Classics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, English, Geological Sciences, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Music, Physical Science, or Physics.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
• Upper division undergraduates/Master’s/Doctoral students are eligible.
• Undergraduate recipients must have completed at least 60 units at the time scholarship funds are disbursed for the fall semester.
• Recipients must be pursuing one of the following majors:

2. Applied Mathematics
3. Astronomy
4. Biology
5. Chemistry
6. Classics
7. Civil Engineering
8. Computer Science
9. Construction Engineering
10. Electrical Engineering
11. English
12. Geological Sciences
13. Mathematics
14. Mechanical Engineering
15. Microbiology
16. Music
17. Physical Science
18. Physics
