John R. Storey Scholarship

The John R. Storey Scholarship is to provide scholarship support to SDSU students.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
• All majors are eligible.
• Recipients must be first-time freshmen.
• Recipients will be students who have GPAs within a .10 range of the average GPA of the average enrolled first-time freshman of the previous year OR an SAT/ACT score within a 10 percent range of the average GPA of the average enrolled first-time freshman of the previous year, as calculated by Enrollment Services.
• Recipients must have financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office.
• Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
• Awards are renewable automatically for an additional three years, as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater, is enrolled full-time, and is determined to have financial need.
