Julia Brown Musical Theatre Endowed Scholarship

The Julia R. Brown Musical Theatre Endowed Scholarship will provide scholarship support to students in the Musical Theatre Program in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• Recipients must be graduate students pursuing an MFA degree in Musical Theatre.
• Recipients must have a minimum overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.00, or the arithmetic equivalent.
• Recipients must be enrolled full-time.
• Demonstration of financial need, as determined by the SDSU Financial Aid Office, will be considered but is not required.
• Applicants must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application by the scholarship opportunity’s deadline for financial need to be determined.
• This scholarship does not renew automatically. Previous recipients must reapply to be considered for a renewal award.
