Robert & Paula Cottam Memorial Scholarship

The Robert and Paula Cottam Memorial Scholarship was endowed by Ms. Cottam in 1997 to memorialize her husband. At her passing, Ms. Cottam’s name was added to the scholarship. This scholarship recognizes excellence in studies of the Classics. The Friends of Classics supports the Department of Classics and Humanities. Founded as a way to insure that classical studies — especially the study of classical Greek and Latin — would remain a viable and valued program at SDSU, the “Friends” continually seek out ways to recognize and reward undergraduates studying classics for their arduous devotion.

To apply for this scholarship, submit a General Application.

If you do not meet all of these requirements in a given term, you may lose your scholarship eligibility and your scholarship may be canceled.

Requirements:

• All class levels are eligible.
• Recipient(s) must be studying in the Department of Classics and Humanities.
• Undergraduate and Graduate students are not required to be enrolled full-time.
